Myself
I am a Singaporean girl of thirteen and my name is Anita. I attend the 101st secondary school. I am considered above average in intelligence and my ambition is to become a teacher and thus be happily engaged in a profession like my teachers.
I am a lie-a-bed and I like to sleep in the mornings. If it rains and if it is a holiday, I like to curl up in the bed and wake up only for brunch. On a school day, my mother has a hard time waking me up and getting me ready for school.

writing a descriptive essay

Describe the time of the day you dislike the most.
1.      Introduction: How the day begins for me
2.      Body: Describe my morning bus rides
3.      Body: Describe my feelings while on the bus
4.      Conclusion: What happens when I reach school

Morning is the time of the day in which the word “dread” is attached to it. Every morning, I am rudely awakened by the loud shrill of the alarm clock. This is followed by a simultaneous ringing of other clocks around the neighborhood joining in the chorus. Soon a competition begins between screaming clocks and barking dogs for the noisiest award. As I lie in bed with both hands covering my ears, I know morning has come again. It is impossible to enjoy the fresh morning air such din.
