School years
Some students like school, others think they hate it, but they all study for ten or more years and gain knowledge and develop experience by doing many different tasks. For example, students who are doing well in most subjects and have particular interests in going onto higher-education school is attractive place. But those who are not successful with their grades and are always pressed by teachers and their parents, considered school is boring and interesting. School is not only a place of formal education, it’s a place where students can develop their skills in social relationships and
increase their tolerance and mutual respect for each other. At school, we can enjoy different cultural and confidence-building activities and at the same time. Everybody has an opportunity to take part in dramatic and musical performance at school or class party,  in school or inter school sports competitions. These activities provide variety to the main educational programs and can also be enjoyed away from school and outside regular school hours. Now many of them such as sports like basketball, football and volleyball and other more  intellectual interests such as maths, science, writing and debate are organized through clubs. School is the main social environment for young people. At school we make our best friends and spend considerable  time going together to dances, concerts, discos, and the cinema.
Travelling
Millions of people all over the world spend their holidays to see other countries and continents, modern cities and the rains of ancient towns, they travel to enjoy pictures, antique places or just for a change of scene. It’s always interesting to discover new things by different ways of life to meet different people, to eat different food, to listen to different musical rhytms. Those who live in the countryside like to go to big city and spend their time visiting museums and art galleries looking at shop windows and dinning at exotic restaurants. Citydwellers usually like a quiet holiday by the sea or in the mountains with trees and rocks to climb, walk, bathe and laze in the sun. Most travelers and holiday-makers take a camera with them and take pictures of a city, old churches and castles, views of mountains, lakes, valleys, plains, waterfalls forests different kinds of trees, flowers and plants, animals and birds. Later, perhaps years later, they will be reminded by the photos of the happy time they have had. People travel by train, by plain, by boat, and by car. All means of travel have their adventages. And people choose one according to their plans and destinations. If we are fond of travelling we see and learn a lot of things that we can never see or learn at home, though we may read about them in books and newspaper, and see pictures of them on TV. The best way to study geography is to travel.
